...only i have tried flexing the bracket but the fit seems so tight that the little screw things pop out - i have managed to get 3 of the 4 in but the 4th i can't manage without the others popping :(

In the end i screwed the damn thing in!!

So, is there an easy way to install them (there doesn't seem to be a manual with this case)

Many thanks

thanks for the advice - so you do just bend/flex the bracket - do you tend to put in 2 sides or 2 ends first?

i have screwed it in now - but am putting another hard drive in soon so will try again then

thanks

You attach the screws to one side of the the hard drive and flex the drive a bit to fix the other side - maybe an idea just to hold a finger against the screw that keeps popping out.:D

thanks - i think thats sort of what i tried (i tried various ways) - but it seemed to need so much force i stopped for fear of breaking the bracket

as suggested i will try aain with another dive when i get one

i don't suppose its because some hard drives are wider than others?? mine was a western digital

Mine was also a Western Digital - but I don't think that has anything to do with it as it slotted perfectly into the next bay.

Probably just a mix of getting the knack for it and perhaps some cages are slighly more robust than others.:D
