hello.

Theres a possibility of me getting a 7990 graphics card of a friend for a good price, however before I take it i want to make sure if my psu would handle it.

ive got a superflower leadex gold 650w.

cpu is a 4670k , 8gb ram , and one SSD , if that matters lol.

Just dont really want the hassle of having to sell my psu as I like the fact of fully modular :)

I previously had a 7990 before but had a corsair cx750m running it with a fx8350 and it seemed fine. however i no longer have that setup anymore.

Thanks

I think 7990s required 750W PSUs so you may be pushing it a little. But since your PSU is very efficient, I think you'll be able to run it at stock speeds at least.

Hi, the AMD website recommended 750W or higher, looking at a review total system power consumption whilst gaming (BF3) was 552w. Superflower is regarded as a good brand of powersupply so you may be OK.

thanks for the quick replies, I thought I would be cutting it close.

Maybe best selling the superflower and getting more power just to be on the safe side?
