650w for amd 390 enough?

Hello all. Im going looking to buy either msi 970 or sapphire 390 tomorrow.

Im leaning towards the 390 however. But just want to confirm if my psu is up to the standard.

I know on here it states 390's require 600w. But elsewhere I look it states 750w?
Have a superflower leadex gold 650w
Paired with a 4690k at stock but i plan on oc soon.
Currently have a 2gb 6950 running .

That is a very high-end PSU and will have no trouble with a 390 and a 4690k.

650w will be absolutely fine with that. (Even oc'd)

Just want to make sure as ive had stuff fail before because of a not so popular psu lol.

More than enough. You can handle a 2/390/X and an i5 on a 400W PSU (no really, most benchmarks shows a full power draw of a system around 350W while gaming)
