So if it blows and takes the rest of your PC with it...
I understand if you dont realise how important PSU's are but you really should have paid for a decent quality one. Buying a PSU because its cheap is about as bad as you can get since its the most important parts of a PC.
Heres a video of a cheap PSU:

That psu is absolute rubbish. It has pathetically weak 12v rails, 30amps total making 360w. That is pathetic for a so called 650w psu.

I really don't understand why people skimp on the single most important component in a pc.

I also had the impression that you had already got it. My point is valid anyway. We have had several this week thinking they can save money by skimping on the psu only to find out it's not up to the job after building their rig. They then expect us to help them find the problem. There is no excuse for it. There are plenty of review sites out there that do proper tests on psu's, jonnyguru being the best one. They check reviews for graphics cards, cpu's and motherboards but when it comes to the psu they seem to think that any cheap and nasty thing will do. When they then build their rig and have problems they then have to buy a decent one (which they should have done in the first place) and end up spending more than they would have if they got a decent one to start with.

cheers pastymuncher never heard of that review site Kitguru and and the guru of 3d are the ones I usually read up on
