Now that the 45s have arrived (or are on the way) will we start to see a price drop in the 65nm series of duos and quads or will they stay high until EOL? Also i have wondered for a long time why the e6600 is still priced so high?
 
They will probably stay at this price until the 45nm processors are in higher supply. I can't imagine them changing by a huge amount in the next couple of months.
 
They will stay at this price, they will follow trend like when the E6*50s replaced E6*00s. Just look at the E6600 price and the E6750 :)
