Hey, i seen the other threads but i can't figure out how to disable the settings for this in the bios, what exactly am i looking for, the motherboard is a gigabyte GA-P35.

Thanks

Ok it seems it was running at 6x multiplier and 200mhz bus speed, i changed it to what i think it should be (9x multiplier and 266mhz bus speed) but its still throtling? Where is the setting to turn that off.

Another question, im a noob at overclocking, when i increase the bus speed its telling me to set the voltage control to auto, should i leave it on manual and see what i can get out of it on stock volts?

You need to disable speedstep, C1E, EIST.

Are you running Vista, as this has options for power saving, control panel - power options.

May be worth a look (if running Vista):)
