6600GT (256MB) playing up?

i never experience this when i play CoD2, but when i play NFMW the sceen keep jerking no matter what resolution i was playing. so i was wonder if this has anything to do with my gfx? Any help would be much appreciated.

On the NFS-MW forums you can see lots get stuttering and sometimes game closes back to desktop, i personally only got this is I overclocked my FSb and GPU too much, even though it passses all prime95 and 3dmark 05/06.

EA are going to release a new patch to fix anyhow.

I would say a patch is required, COD@ is pretty heavy on a 6600GT.

i can run CoD2 fine before i start playing NFSMW, after its start to get jerking on NFSMW i went back to CoD2 and its start doing the same thing! im running on 91.98 firmware.

right, i dont think this problem is causing by CoD2 or NSFMW as i've just test this with 3DMark03 and the screen jerking also! what can cause this sort of problem. please help!

Ram, or lack of.

I'm guessing though as when I play the same game get the same thing, seems to take up a lot of virtual memory for some reason.

i have 1GB of ram this should be enough to run nfsmw in low resolution smoothly, as i said no matter what the resolution im in the game is always jerking.

Same here I have 1 gig of ram in dual chan mode, but I've noticed that after playing NFSMW everything higher then the lower res settings use a lot of virtual memory for some reason, and thats with a 6800LE unlocked.
