Hiya,
I had now properly wired up my PC to my TV and Amp.
A bit embarrassing it has taken this long considering I setup TV & Computer equipment for a living!
Therefore, this thread is also a little embarrassing!
Anyway, the TV setup all the way along to the end of the SVideo cable is flawless.
I have obviously tested all of the other components and my problem lies with the PC.
What is my problem I hear you cry, well I get diagonal scrolling lines across my TV.
They scroll from left to right.
My PC is as follows: (Well, the stuff I think could effect it...)
Gigabyte 6600GT 128Mb.
The TV out on the gfx card is propriatory and goes to a small black box with component video and Svideo outputs. I think composite video can be fed through the svideo output too with a little adaptor.
The PSU is FSP branded, it's very stable and quiet so I have had no reason to uprate it.
The HDD I guess could interfere, it's a 200GB SATA Baracuda operating off of a SATA molex too, the funny shaped ones.
Another slight niggle, when I click on the Geforce tab in the graphics settings the monitor (17" CRT) brightness gets reduced to 0 and I have to turn it back up via the OSD controls.
