not sure about that score since i don;t use any 3dmark older than 05 to test with.

run 3dm05 for a better idea on how the gpu is doing.

as a rough guide my old 6800nu fully unlocked and clocked to 385/835 scored 4802 in 3dm05
 
Score looks good since '01 uses a lot of CPU power...

If you can clock that 6600GT harder (i got 600/1200 on my XFX with a litle voltage mod) you will see some good gain in frame rate....
 
is it me, or are you using rather old drivers?

Try getting them updated, may help performance a bit.

Oh, and for good measure, i had a 66gt at 590/1200, and got 227xx on 2k1, cpu was 3500+ @ 305x8.5, only 512 meg ram, but @ 2-3-3-5 1t

I agree with the rest of the people here, use 05.. much better gfx comparison
 
05 will better represent current in game graphics and a better bench to measure your cards frame rate against. Also '03 will also be a good marker..
 
I got 9550 odd in 3dmark03 just now @ 2.61GHz, 550 / 1170, is this what is expected from a 6600gt or less.
