6600K @ 1440p

Would a 6600K Skylake bottleneck a 1080Ti @ 1440p Ultrawide?
Anyone have this setup?

I've got the upgrade itch and just looking at the options.

I have a 6600 non K and I find it bottlenecks a 1080 @ 1080p. That is not quite the question you asked I know, but there is no way I would spend money on a 4 core 4 thread processor at this moment. Well not unless you already have the Zxx mobo & cooler to over clock it and the CPU is going to be incredibly cheap.

Yeah you might get some bottlenecking, but just whack up the AA to force more load onto the gfx card and sorted!

Tbh I'd give it a try.

I've overclocked my 6600K to 4.4 GHz at the moment. Sounds like it's a go!
