Why would you buy 6600K or 6700K when 7600K and 7700K are similarly priced?
Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.
You wouldn't.
Not odd in my opinion. Both processors coexist at a similar price and 6600K and 6700K are still selling. I would understand why someone would buy them if they were much cheaper.Odd question
I've wondered this myself. The 6600/6700 ranges should be at least £50 cheaper as an incentive to shift them in preference over the 7600/7700.
Theres not many people that would buy a new I5 or I7 and not have a GPU, I believe the Nvidia 10 series and AMD RX4/5 series adds this support? I know they enable you to play 4k via Kodi, not sure about Netflix though?kabylake is required for 4k netflix if that's important to you. skylake will not play 4k netflix as it does not have the hardware based DRM - playready 3.0 used by windows 10.
also only kaby has the hardware support for the 4k 10bit HEVC used by netflix that skylake does not.

Edit
This is a genuine question as I have a 6600k with a 1050ti for my media PC (Although Netflix is on my TV)
