660ti or 7950 ?

I am torn between a 2 Gb Gigbyte 660ti and a 2 Gb Gigabyte 7950? I mostly play BF3 (and now Planetside 2) and COD. Currently I only play 720p but will upgrade the monitor shortly to a nice 1080p.

I want a cool running card (currently have a 6870) as I am sick of the room getting so hot in the Summer ! Also my system is pretty quiet running so again would prefer a quiet running, cool card if the performance is comparable.

I want the Gigabyte as there is a UK service centre, and I will be getting a relative to bring them back from the USA this xmass.

I have the KFA 3GB 660ti. Can run BF3 on ultra just fine and is damn near silent.

The 7950 is a better all round option. It allows for the over volting as well if you want to push it a little.

I was leaning towards the 7950 being an AMD fan. Thanks for the advice. Its pretty unanimous !

The Gigabyte 7950 3gb is only $300 in the USA. Which is about £190, perfect for xmass !
