2 choices - I currently have 1 gtx 660Ti 3GB, and was wondering if putting it in SLI with another 660Ti would be worth it, or whether it would be better to get 1 gtx 770/780 (depending on how much money I have) and just not upgrade for a while.

I am using a 30" 2560X1600 monitor and so need more graphics power for playing games at high resolutions.

You would probably struggle to find another 660ti 3gb and a gtx 770 is not really a good option for 2560x1600 due to 2gb vram.

Go for a gtx 780 if you can afford it.

agree with what was said about 660ti 3gb and 770.

you might also consider R9 290 with aftermarket cooler like Tri X.

I would've done, but I need an Nvidia card due to 3ds Max (and I can't afford a quadro card :( )

If 'a certain auction site' a bad idea for buying graphics cards (even if they're not sold by individuals), as I've seen gtx 660Ti s for about £150 on there?

I've seen this on the auction site, refurbished from a relatively reputable seller, a 3GB 660Ti for £179. Not sure if this is worth it (it comes with a 1 year warranty):

remove that link.

I'd say no. if you add 180 to what you'll sell that 3GB 660Ti for, you're almost in the 780 territory. if you had access to MM, you'd be there already.
