660ti vs 970

hi guys i was doing a little readin online while waiting for cards to come in stock and i see that some sites are saying low fps @ 1080p for 970
how much performance and fps would i get going fom 660ti to 970 ,will itbe a huge jump at 1080

It's a pretty big leap. The card performance wise is around a 780/290 and in some benchmarks beats them in fps. I've never had "low" FPS from my 970, always above 60 at least in any game at 1080p.

Dunno where you saw low fps for 1080p it's a really good performer for the money though and should be certainly at least 40% faster than the 660Ti.

I've just replaced my 660Ti with an MSI 970 Gaming, but I've also taken the opportunity to upgrade to Windows 8.1 at the same time, so I haven't had a chance to test the card out yet.

I'm expecting some pretty serious jumps in frame rate and image quality settings.

you frame rate will do leapfrog and your pc will thank you for it but your bank balance may not lol
