I've been playing the BF3 beta on low at 60-80 FPS on my 5830. (Ultra runs at 25-35 FPS). 1920 * 1080 res.
My friend has a i5 2300 and wants to get a dedicated graphics card for the games release. Do you think a 6670 1GB DDR5 would play low at very smooth rates?
I assume so because the 6670 is about 25% slower than my card, yet his CPU is a lot better than mine. I expect it to run at about 40-60 FPS. He will also play at 1920 * 1080. What do you guys think?
We can't go higher than this card due to budget and a 300 watt PSU with no power adapters. Used an online wattage calculator and it should be fine, even under full load.
Any advice welcome.
