Hi,

been trying to overclock my 2 EVGA 670 ftw's (both are liquid cooled) but getting really poor results
using precision x following this guide

here are my current stats

as you can see am only +60 on the GPU I can run both Heaven and 3dmark 2013 with no problems but when i try any graphical game i.e. Metro, Grid 2 it freezes

just think this is very low any ideas?

Something is a miss here, its not hitting boost speeds and gpuz isn't picking up memory size. Think a clean out of drivers and appications is in order and start from scratch.

thanks guys ill have a go,

i did install latest drivers but wouldn't snap windows to each screen so went back to driver 320.

i notice memory was showing 0 and thought that was a bit strange

also my boot drive is an ssd and its sitting on bootup for about a 1-2 mins with a black screen before windows starts.

Hi all,

still no joy ive updated my drivers to 327.23, but still the same story +60 works with benchmark tests but crashes with games.

it is showing memory now

ok, something very strange is going on.

i set my setting to 1100mv power +120, Gpu +50 with stock memory settings

ran grid 2 game crashed.

run EVGA oc scanner using 3000mb for 6 hrs no crash.
oc scanner runs gpu at 99% burn in test btw.
