£670 spec!

Hi guys my friend needs a spec for a gaming pc. He's going to buy it before tuesday so will be able to take advantage of the OC deals if it's worth it.
He needs everything apart from a key bored and mouse.
So he will NEED a monitor and an OS(windows7?)!
£670 is max.
He'll play game like League of legends, team fortress, starcraft 2, counter strike, skyrim and whatever other future games like this that would be coming out.

No he hasn't got one he could use as a monitor. He is a student so i'm assuming he could get windows on a student deal. But thanks, i know its a pretty tight budget but being student and all that he's relying on christmas/birthday money

A B-grade Motherboard may not be the best idea as cables, manuals and all sorts of important items may be missing.

That is a bad point, just giving options! Most mobo's are pretty much self explanatory when it comes to fittings.

Student loans?.

It's not ideal for gaming but you can just use the desktop mode which is basically windows 7.

Think i'm gonna go with snips, i've familiar with some of those parts so building should be quick and they're top for me. If i get him the student discount of window 7 it should bring it underbudget. What type of parts would i be missing with B Grade?-never bought anything B grade before

Possibly, cables, manual and maybe driver CD.

Nothing you can't get for cheap or download for free. Most gamers/builders, no generalisation intended, have SATA leads knocking around!
