670 stutter in Smite

I don't know about the 7970's first hand but from what I read, they can have their faults as well if that makes you feel any better although I think the stutter problem is a much bigger game breaker.
Both driver teams really should be getting their fingers out and get these problems sorted, they are quick enough to charge for way, way overpriced gpus while giving so little effort back to their customers by fixing problems.
How many of your games stutter?
Does some stutter more than others snodge, or is it the same effect in general?

I heard the stutter problem doesn't happen if you play your games in windowed mode, have you tried that?
'Yeah, it is nice to be able to run the games smoothly, even if it's in window mode. Oh well, I guess it's a temporary fix for now. Sucks that's not it's not full screen, but at least it's smooth now and no stutters! '

I typed in Smite stutter and the only google search that came back was this thread. Some more info is needed.
What other games have you played and get the stutter issue?
Have you tried enabling v-sync?
The current beta drivers (304.68) have sorted the issues for many (not all though). Sorry to hear you regret your 670 purchase but maybe we can help you get your games running smooth.
