6700k ddr3 or 4

Hi, my 3770k is getting a little old now and I'm thinking it's time to upgrade however budget is a tad tight so what I'm wondering is will there be much performance loss with the components below and the DDR3 ram I already have or would I be better off spending the extra 100ish quid and going for DDR4

Am I seeing things or does the 6700k with ddr3 beat the 6700k with ddr4 in quite a few of the categories in this benchmark???

It's more about size than anything else and it's swings and roundabouts with speed vs latency, if budget is tight you can maybe keep your ram, I think it has to be DDR3L ram thought rather than normal DDR3, but you should check that.

Looking at the memory support list for that motherboard it seems to be all DDR3, and the ram i have 16gb of ram is size is what you mean
