6700k high temps?

hi everyone, just got a z170 asus deluxe and a h100i gtx, stock temps max at around 62 for gaming and when i use the auto tune that comes with the board (i suck at ocing and have no idea what im doing) the temps when gaming are core 0 67
core 1 70
core 2 56
core 3 63

Ive not maxed it out using any software yet since im guessing if its going to 70 playing stuff like witcher 3 then running it at 100% with prime the temps are gna fly up into the high 80s/90s and dont want to break it lol

using hw monitor the VID seems to stay around 1.275 / 1.3 when surfing the web and not doing much but after gaming it says max is 1.425, im not great at this stuff so if you need any more information please ask just want to make sure im not going to destroy this cpu since it wasnt cheap

from what I hear, you'd be best off tweaking in the bios to get your o/c rather than using the auto tune doodad. That may be the source of the fluctuating temps, especially since manual overclocks seem to be averaging a stable 4.7Ghz at the mo.

ok thanks, the VID is the main voltage that will bring temps down right? theres like 4 different ones in bios and havent got a clue lol

CPU Core/Cache Voltage if memory serves

went into bios and changed the cpu core voltage to 1.280, just finished a hour on witcher and max temps have been
core 0 - 59
1-58
2-53
3-58
