Right now I'm running it at 4.4GHz at 1.308v, it needs something like 1.34v for 4.5 and over 1.36v for 4.6 (benches stable more or less, games crash in < 5 min, basically it can only POST under those frequencies), is mine just not a good clocker or just needs even more volts? How much volts is safe for 6700K? It crashes if I put anything less than 1.25v while stock 4.0 GHz.

I guess it's cool at 65'C under AIDA Stability test for 10 minutes, cooled by Alpenfohn Matterhorn in Phanteks Evolv ITX case, stock 200mm fan and one top 140 intake and rear 140 exhaust Akasa Vipers, plenty of airflow I think. Thinking of swapping front 200mm for 1 or 2 Vipers, can't put 2nd fan on top, needs like 2mm more clearance top of cooler >.<

I wouldn't go beyond 1.35v for long term 24/7.

Define 'long term' :D My pc is usually on twice a day a few hours each time, before and after work. Then there's weekends, pc is on for like 60-70 hours straight. I guess I'll see how high it can go up to 1.4v, if I can get 4.6 (or 4.7 :o) stable, I'll be a happy bunny :D

I'm relieved it can go higher volts than Haswell, I was a bit unsure trying 1.36v, read too much about how anything over 1.3v can damage the CPU.

So, tried 1.4v, 4.6 crashes 10 seconds into Realbench, Cinebench crashes straight away, didn't even try any games lol, 1.35v 4.5GHz passed Realbench and Cinebench (959 yey), will probably keep it for now, try some gaming, maybe dial down voltage if I can a bit. I noticed it's a R0 stepping, what's that mean?

Potato CPU, I like it, I should rename my pc to 'Veggie Paella', as I got a potato gpu too, won't do more than 1420/2150 stable, throwing 1.21v at it atm xD
