6700k safe temps

im running my 6700k with the auto tuning on my motherboard which puts it at 4.4ghz ive just applied new paste and it seems slightly hotter than before.
whats the max safe temps before it starts throttling? i was gaming just now around 75c under load
and i cant remember if paste gets better after a certain time and the temps drop.

It's tjmax is 100c although it will probably start throttling in the 90's.

75c is fine. Upper 80's I would start to get a little worried.

What paste did you use? If anything just remove the cooler and stick on some kryonaut.

Check the spread so you can make adjustments to your application method if required.

a small packet of arctic mx-2 which ive had since overclockers sold them a long time ago
think il just leave it now as 75c is fine.
