Are the 680's at the current prices (£270) worth it for a 480 soc owner?

I like the price, but is it a significant upgrade from the 480 soc? I was originally looking at the 770 but then decided to leave it to see what AMD decide to do in a few months. However by then I assume the 680 will be gone and so I am stuck with whatever prices things are at.

I also have this annoying thing at the back if my mind about the vram, is the 680 going to last a couple of years?

I have been thinking about this since yesterday and I still can't make my mind up.

It's a huge upgrade from a 480. About twice as powerful I think. At those prices it's a steal; I wish I had waited an extra month, I would have bought the liquid cooled one.

I currently have a cpu water cooler, so I can't really go for the wc one. I was looking at the phantom, is that the best of what's left or is the kfa2 worth a punt?

CyberCrow they wont drop. Just go EOL when 9xxx comes out. They are cheap as **** as it is ....

I think the Inno3D is the best air cooled one there. I'd either go for that or the KFA2.

Hmmm actually, I think I would prefer KFA2. Is it possible to cancel orders on here? I can't see an option.

Contact support. Don't think there is anyone there until Monday now though, I assume your order hasn't shipped? Maybe someone will answer in the CS forum tomorrow but I wouldn't count on it

If you just ordered now and didn't get a confirmation email saying your order shipped then your ok. Just call them Monday morning and they'll sort it out for you.

I have a kfa2 670 oc version and although the core is poo for overclocking the memory is amazingly overclock-able , Runs around 66c to 70c max temp, so yeah i would recommend kfa as a card.

I do not know however what the rma process is like if you get a fault as i have not used it.

I'm sure OCUK would handle all RMA.

No I only ordered it tonight, it says it will arrive Tuesday.

When you say monday morning, what time do you suggest?
