Currently have a HD 6870 - do I need to do anything special to cleanse my system of the AMD drivers or is an uninstall using CCC OK?

Not switched between red and green before without doing a new build at the same time so just checking. I usually sweep but I've been convinced not too :)

p.s. I know I'm stupid for early adopting but what the hell right? :p
