How are the drivers for bf3, how does it run, and any probs since new update.

Doing some more tests today on my lightning, if no improvement its going back.

Do you need to keep creating so many different threads?

Drivers are fine - performance is excellent. I haven't updated to 301.24 though so don't know if there's any issues with those.

just unsure what to do, thats why. can still return the lightning for 3 days. so want to make sure. doing lots of test on bf3 today(only game i really play), i am seeing big differences in FPS, since change of driver and update

actually let me cut to the chase, i bought the lightning through OCUK at the promotion price of £380 which is excellent if i was to change to non reference 680 i would have to add around £100, how much of an improvement would it be???
game currently @1080 on 64 player maps

Performance wise they seem completely fine but people have complained about a game loading into a black screen after the patch which happened to me once and also I had some textures flashing but only one some structures like support columns in metro.

No sign of the stutter with vsync off and all ultra setting though.

You still have not said what is wrong with the lightning?

Why do you need a custom 680? Fan is quiet on reference - one of the best. I wouldn't bother with a custom even if they were available when I bought mine on release day.

The 680's come with dual link DVI as standard which is good if you play 120hz. Lightning does not. Also with the Lightning you're dependent on overclocking to get it up to speed.

A good overclock on a 7970 in bf3 gives you similar performance to a gtx680oc. If the 7970 is performing as it should then moving to a gtx680 will not improve your gameplay experience.
