£680 PC

Which is better of the two. I am putting a GTX275 or similar GPU on in about 2 months time, so I wanted £680 PC before GPU

i7-920

I hear the 860 is better at gaming (just), but Dual Channel DDR3


But 920 has better oc' and triple channel

So, whats better?

id say get the 920 for the socket's sake it is more ready for future CPU's and future graphics card as p55's dont have 2 16x lanes
besides if maths taught us one thing 7 is a higher number than 5 and so naturally better

Agreed, I'd go i7.

Swap the 3450 out for the 275 and you'll see how small the price difference is for more threads and better OC results.

Also the Palit is out of stock, there are a few of the Point Of View cards left though

The 3450 is well better really

No, I forgot to change to the GTX275 to show you the i7-920, as that goes in there for 2 month before I upgrade
