Do you think the price will drop on 680's now that the 780's are imminent? How soon would you expect to see a price drop and would it be a significant fall?

Just thinking I might pick up a second 680 if the prices will fall by a reasonable amount and make it worthwhile.

I would keep an eye out in the for sale forum, 2 GTX-680's sli are still very good and although will be surpassed by the newer 700 series cards for raw speed they can still play games at high frame rates. SLI can offer a much smoother game experience aswell.

2nd hand GTX-680's will start to appear very soon iam guessing!

Decided to go this route myself but with gtx 670 sli. Managed to source another gigabyte wf. Should tide me over for a good while.

Second hand will be the way to go, when the 7 series cards go on sale people will be jumping on mm to offload there 6 series, my guess is the longer you can wait then cheaper you will get it

Paid £210.00 for a wf 670 on mm, pretty good considering my first one cost about £380.00 at release. Will be interesting to see how it clocks compared to my current card. But even at stock speeds they will cover my needs quite well.
