680 vs 770

Hi guys,

I'm building a new computer and I'm having a hard time choosing a graphics card. Both the 680 and 770 are quite similarly priced now so it's basically coming down to either slightly better performance with the 770 or free Metro: Last Light with the 680. Which do you all think is the better choice?

770 is a tweaked 680. No price difference to mention, I'd go with the latest and newest, if only for better second hand value if you come to sell it later. Plus, the stock 770 looks bad-ass

But if you spend that much you may as well get the Gainward Phantom.

As above, may as well go for the newer gen with the 770.

I'd go second hand 680 save you a lot of money for the same card. You can overclock the core speed easily to match the 770 and above but I doubt you'd get the same memory speed.

I agree with a second hand 680, which will net you a possible £100 saving for virtually identical performance.

Yeah good luck finding any AIB with the titan cooler on their cards. Apparently inno3d are heading to OCUK with it on, but they aint the best for warranty and it's £360.
