680 waterblock installation

I brought a 680 waterblock to put on my 680 reference card but I can't find out what screwdriver I need, I have brought and tried some torx one but they don't fit. Which screwdriver do I need then? Also it's seems like the take the screw of around the GPU I'm going to needed a durrfebt size to. Can someone please tell me the names and sizes if the screwdriver im going to need.

What block is it?

Many use Allen-key h2.0/2.5/3.0

If it's an ek block the instructions will tell you exactly what tools you need.

If it's not ek then go to ek's product page for a 680 block and download the instructions, I think it's either T6 or T8.

Your watercooling and your asking what screwdriver you need?? :confused:

I just used two small screwdrivers, just made sure they fit well so they don't mess the screw head up.

Good phillips and a torx size 6 - that should be what you need to remove the stock cooler and install the new waterblock.

It depends on the card.

EVGA just use phillips are they allow the removal of the cooler. Most other use torx 6, but some use allen keys.

Going by the last thread the OP started, I just think a little new but I would want some "experience" before attempting to change the HS for a WB. I would certainly not be asking what screw driver should I be using...
