I just bought a 6800gs 512mb card to replace my old 9800pro 128mb card. Deinstalled my old drivers, pulled out the old one, put the new one in and turned on the computer.
All appeared fine. It kicked up into the basic graphics mode and looked for drivers, found them, installed them and asked me to reboot.
I did it but when it loaded up it was still in basic graphics mode. I tried to change it through right click / properties but it wouldnt allow anything.
I checked device manager and the 6800gs had the yellow ! next to it. I opened it up and it stated:
This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12)
If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system.
Click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter for this device.
I have a 2.4ghx P4 on a ibit ic7 max 3 mobo with 1 gig of RAM. Any body any ideas what is wrong??? Please help. I am scouring the internet but can't seem to find anything about it.
