6800GS Unlock - Check

Hello,

Just put in my 6800GS Agp (Upgrade ), and having read that the extra pipelines could be unlocked I've tried to do so in rivatuner.

Rivatuner is now reading 16 pixel and 6 vertex pipelines (From 12 and 5 respectively). Is there any way to check that this has actually worked?

Your benchmark (like 3D Mark) scores will be a little higher.

I managed to do this too. Run all the 3d marks again, you should have a substantial performance (10-15%, depending on what you run). Important to check for artifacts, as the pipes or shaders might be damaged.

If you do get artifacts, then only disable one of the pipes, and leave the shaders running. chances are you'll be able to 'half-unlock'.
