p.s. wots the warranty for xfx..????

many thx

I think an RMA is your only real option here, I don't know exactly what XFX give as a warranty but legally you have at least 1 year from purchase. You should be able to find out what XFX themselves offer from here, North America can apparantly get a "double lifetime" warranty if the card is registered whatever that means.

Guys I think my graphics card is messed up as well?

Because after installing my current ram for the first time things started to go wrong. I suffered random restarts and blue screens of death, but I do remember the side of my hand was touching the back of my graphics card.

I was even wearing an anti-static wrist band, I also ran Memtest and it reported no errors on both sticks of ram, installed on there own.

I'd try reseating your graphics card before writing it off completely, you may have knocked it loose while installing the Ram. Have you tried your graphics card again with your old Ram?

If you were wearing a wrist strap then in theory you houldn't be able to damage your graphic card just by touching it(at least not from static electricity). I've never used a wrist strap and I don't think there is a huge amount of need for them but it shouldn't be easy to damage a graphics card while you have one on.

I try reinstalling my current graphics card, but I even try my old GF4 and see if I get any random restarts.
