6800gt how far can i push

hi my lads got as above in his pc at the moment ive got it at 1050mem and 400 core. does anybody know roughly what i can expect to get out of this card. it has arctic cooling and it idle at 46 c

im sure i read in some old threads that it could do 450/1100 on air oh well i guess ill just push it till its at its max stable

If you get 450/1100 then you are at Ultra Extreme speeds and pre-clocked cards at those speeds were very, very rare. You are currently at 6800 Ultra speeds which isn't too bad.

If the card isn't anything special then I'd agree with Marek, you are probably nearing the limits, after this point I'd be moving in 5mhz increments at max.

I used to clock mine to 400/1100 (ultra speeds) for 24/7 use but it could do 425/1150 before it began artifacting. You should be able to clock the memory to 1100 at least.
