Hi guys, my 6800GT has bit the dust. I was the first one to post pictures of it up on these very forums about 3 years ago. So i bought a EVGA 7800GS/OC 256mb card to replace it as anything else would just be a waste in my system. For some strange reason, after downloading the latest drivers of the nvidia site 162.18, my desktop is too long, cant see the clock unless i scroll right, and my monitor wont go past 1280x???? (cant remember) even though it says in the nvidia control panel its 1440x900. I have tried every setting in there to try and fix it but no joy, only thing that fixes it is re-installing my old drivers 94.24. Anyone know what could be causing this or what drivers are best at the mo for these cards?
