6800nu unlocking question

I have managed to unlock the vertex shaders on my gfx card. However, whenever I unlock the 4 extra pipelines I get loads of artifacts on 3d mark 05. Is there any way I can stop the artifacts and what causes the artifacts?

The card is at stock. The pipelines must be damaged. Thanks for the reply!
