680i/e8400 probs

Hi all, I recently bought a e8400 wolfdale and a nforce 680i A2 motherboard.

All good so far but just wondering what is stopping me from getting higher that 3.7ghz?

So far I have tryed Upping the Vcore (1.37), Upping the FSB voltage (1.5) also memory voltage (2.1) but just keep getting BSOD's. Temps are fine 46Load.

I have set the memory to be unlinked ( corsair PC26400 ) 4x1GB / also tryed linked/syched. But still no joy.

Anyone else had this board? similar problems? I not sure what to do next.

I've got an e8400 on a 650i (asus p5n-e sli) board and get similar results. Can't get past 3.5 without upping the volts a lot. 3.6/3.7 max while keeping the vcore under 1.4

Hmm, sounds like the board then. Seems there's a lot of tweeking needed for these boards, my search continues

I used to have a E8400 on my asus 680i board and i could get it to 3.6 but couldnt get any furthur
