It wasn't a question.

/making things worse.

*runs away*

It was a silly comment though jordan26.

Back to the point. Its hard to tell, you'd expect the prices to drop after they come out, though it may take a few month and by then you may want a 7*** anyway.

I think your best option is to get one as soon as you can afford it, when they are on special offer too.

and yet he still goes on.

Just correcting a statement which was wrong ;)

And no one can answer your question in any meaningful way.

Prices may not come down at all depending on the price/performance of the new cards.

Based on the estimated prices on the 7xxx series cards they look like they could cost quite a bit more than the 6xxx series cards.

If that's the case then the remaining 6xxx series cards could still be sold at around their current prices.

If there aren't many 6xxx series cards left in stock then prices could even go up as people will still want them for CrossFire.

There are far too many unknowns to give a useful answer to your question.

Any answer you get is pure speculation and guess work.

I would guess the 6***series cards will drop by about 20%. Mind you that is pure guesswork on my part and is in no way representative of anyone else's guess ie Surveyor.:D ( who didn't actually have a guess )
