Hi guys

Basically, i am running 2x radeon 6850s in CF, i purchased these because they were a good price each....

But i am wanting to upgrade to 2x Nvidia gtx 570's. i dont know why, i have just got it in my head that i want to....
But for 2x GTX 570's, its going to be quite costly, especially since i havent long bought my 6850s.....

With christmas coming up and our washing machine and fridge freezer going faulty at the same time (typical, near christmas), things are going to be costly enough..

So i was wondering, should i just hold on to my 6850's? Because i want something that will be good to play games at 1080p for the next couple of years. as i dont like having to upgrade every year or so.... I like future proof..

so will my 6850's be good for the next couple of years, or are they not all that good?

cheers

Keep the 6850's, the new 7000 series is meant to be just around the corner and promises some impressive performance (if you believe the speculation), sli 570's is both stupidly pricey and overkill.

Long story short: Wait for a couple of months before making the decision

hmm, i may have a wait and see what the prices are first before i make my mind up...

Just got soo much things i want, and so much other things to pay out for, i cant spoil myself haha :'(

My Crossfired 6850s arent too bad, getting a minimum of 62fps in mw3... ive never gone below 62fps......
But like i said previously, i really hope they are good enough to last a couple of years.... mind you, i havent overclocked them yet, so maybe when they start to struggle, i can then overclock and flash the clocks to keep them going for a little longer....

will just see what the 7 series cards are lik price wise..
