6870/6850 volt mod ( trixx beta )

Just to get an idea, what sort of clocks might I be able to get on my 5850? And what are safe volts to chuck through it? I have my 860 on the raggedy edge, now to match it with my gpu

Well it's helped me to get 875/1200 stable at 1.2v so I'm happy

I see where you are coming from, I guess I should have explained myself better

Those clocks are nice, but I like pushing things.

And as I'm hopefully getting water ( ), would be nice to know how hard I can push without blowing something up.

Right, just messed around with it.

Got 950 core 1250 mem stable at 1.25 volts

If that's too much to chuck through it, who cares? I'm rather drunk right naow

On auto fan, 38ºc at idle, 75ºc at full chat after 5 mins or so.

This is mighty ****** up version of Afterburner, messed up my idle voltage to stay at a constant level

It does what Afterburner doesn't without Unofficial Overclocking enabled but can't get my profiles properly and voltage control is definitely borked.

Use open hardware monitor, it shows the voltage/clock drop at idle that gpuz doesn't :/

Why does GPU-Z show voltage drop when I use Afterburner then? I had to reboot to get my voltage back to normal.

The idle temps were higher too meaning that it must have messed with the voltage.

Not sure, but I wasn't happy with MSI 'burner beta, so ditched it in favour of Trixx, which works way way better with my card.
