Would a 6870 be good for this resolutin?
i'm moving up from a gigabyte 5850 and wondering if it'll still play games well at the res, as most review sites i've seen use 1920 x 1080 as a bench, which is overkill for me lol

Not much of an upgrade going to a 6870 ! if i were you i would be looking for a 6950/70
what's wrong with the 5850 ?
 
Nah, there's absolutley nothing wrong with the monitor i have, it's the perfect size, and really just a perfect screen for everything i've wanted to use it for, just wondering if that card will be good at that res?

I'm not that bothered about it being better, If it matches perfromance or even slight outperforms it, then i'll be happy...
