6870 Graphics card problem?

I've received this error a few times more now, it rarely happens when im playing a youtube video and the in the taskbar it shows that the amd driver stopped responding and recovered. I then see these artifacts and a blue screen with some errors for a few secs and it restarted with the following message-

Does any1 know if its the GPU, its gettin rather irritating.

Uninstall the driver, use driver sweeper to get rid of any unwanted amd software, then reinstall using the latest drivers or the older one if you don't have any luck with the latest ones.

This should technically sort out most problems.
