6870 minimising and then slow performance.

Hi Guys

This sounds stupid but I can't say for how long this has been happening now, I have tried rolling back my drivers but this doesn't fix it.

Out of about the 3 games I play, I play two in full screen. Project Cars and Euro Truck Simulator 2, and about 20 minutes into game play, the game will minimise momentarily and then come back again with very very poor performance, i then have to restart my PC for it to get back to working order again.

Any idea why this is?

Well the poor performance would be the cards going into 2D clocks? (someone correct me if i'm wrong) I'm not sure what would cause the game minimising and then jump back...other than a driver crash?

On a unrelated subject. What's Euro Truck like? That's coming to Steam through the Greenlight program, worth the £20?

Have you tried disabling desktop desktop composition (find game .exe, right click - properties - compatability)?

Yeah it's good, I drive HGVs for a living in UK. I can't say the physics are great because they're not, but it simulates what it needs to simulate while not making things too arcadey. It's very well set up and easily SCS Software's best game/sim by far yet. It's also quite aesthetically pleasing as well and it ones of those games which is great to come back to.
