6870 overclock.

Okay guys so I just wanted to do this for a laugh and see if i could do it.

So using MSI afterburner i set my own fan profile which keeps it cool and here is the overclock;

Overclock:
1.250V
975Mhz Core
1200Mhz Memory & 134.4GB/s BW
-------------------
Stock:
1.175V
900Mhz Core
1050Mhz Memory & 154.7GB/s BW

Does this sound stable or is the voltage too high etc. or should i clock it down and leave it at stock if it might damage the gpu?

Oh and another question (i know its not the right forum for this but oh well) my ram is 762.7 MHz (3:8) @ 9-9-9-24, does this double to make 1525Mhz or triple to make whatever triple of it is because it is DDR3? it should be 1525 though because thats what i saw in BIOS ^^

RAM is double because it's DDR (Double Data Rate).

It makes no difference if it's DDR2 or DDR3, it's still double.

have seen post about some HD6950 are doing 920MHz on the core with ~1.21v
