Hi all, OCUK have tested and fault no fault with one of my 6870s, so looking for help to as why my system is going nuts with it.

On boot with 2 cards in it will hang and crash, with just the RMA'd card it will boot then hang or go to red screen. With the non RMA'd card it will boot, play, and dance for you with zero problems.

Any ideas? I've been playing crossfire with these for months with next to no problems.
 
Have you tried the good GFX card in both PCIe slots to see if the fault is with the motherboard? Also have you tried changing the power connectors round to see if the good card will boot from the faulty cards power connector as the PSU may be faulty.
 
Thanks for the reply, just received it back from the RMA, plugged it straight into crossfire, same connectors, going to test now, maybe my comp was having a spazz.

Update, been playing fine all day no problems at all, must be my comp throwing a very dodgy wobbly.
