ive been specing myself a watercooling setup for my evga 680i

decided on using the swiftech h20-220 kit

ive just thought about nb cooler in the loop, not a problem but what do i do with south bridge? obviously the heatpipe etc will be gone with nb heatsink

i dont want to water cool this (surely no need) and besides my gtx is right over it (sb)

has anyone got experiance of this and is there a low profile heat sink i could use

thanks in advance

It's a rebadged Vantec Copper Iceberg VGA & Chipset Cooler, I'm using one myself on the advice of W3bbo, works a treat and fits under the GTX fine....just remember to turn it down to 50% in BIOS otherwise it's too loud.

the noctua nc-u6 fits fine with a gtx and the gtx sucks air through it too

on your 650i maybe but on a 680i the 8800gtx is directly above the south bridge

indeed, not a chance that the noctua will fit on a 680i with an 88gtx (unless the gtx had a different cooler.. the fins may just miss the card, but it doesn;t look like it will at all)
