6900k vs 5960x

Was wondering what the consensus is on the 5960x vs 6900k? It seems like the choice is much clearer as you go both above and below this tier as the 10 core has no equivalent and the 5820k is such great value for money at the moment that it would get a small edge in terms of purchasing decision.

Have not heard much on the 8 core though. So which is the better purchase?
 
unless things improve with future stepping's for BW-E then HW-E is the better bet across the hex and oct core CPU's

BW-E is only really worth it if you insist on running the CPU at stock.

Due to greater 'leakage' from the smaller transistors on BW-E it requires higher voltage with mass heat dissipation to reach some clocks not potentially as high as HW-E cpu's

basically BW-E is a waste of time for most people: - too expensive, slightly better IPC over HW-E but offset by poorer overclocking, too much heat and voltage needed for what have become fairly standard overclocks on HW-E, very expensive top end SKU that few will benefit from
