Hey Folks,


Waiting to order potentially a 6800xt or a 6900xt although initial reviews for the 6900xt do not seem to be great?

The 6900xt was supposedly launched a couple of days ago and whilst they are now showing on the website they do not seem to have been released and there is no notice on the forums either?

Also to get some views on whether it would be worth considering having a 5900 rysen cpu in combination with a 3080 nvidia card depending on performance and stock situations?

There is plenty of notice if you look. Short answer, you probably wont be able to order any of those cards till well into next year.
 
I havent seen any notice about the 6900xt on the website or on the forums. Also depends what view people have with combining an nvidia card with amd ryzen 5900x :)

I am pretty sure Gibbo said the 6900xt would go on sale the end of this week or the beginning of next for the same number of cards they have

I have been hunting for posts on this but not seen anything. Unless it was mentioned in another post elsewhere? Any views on the nvidia cards with an amd setup ?
 
So where should I look well there is a 6900xt thread shall I look here or is that too obvious ? :p

We will make product available to order when we see fit, most likely later this week or next week and as usual I shall give a heads up on the OcUK forum in the GPU section a couple of minute before going live, we have around 100 and we expect them to sell out within around 30s even with doing an under the radar style launch.

We will not be taking back orders, if we do over sell when we make them available, the over sold orders will be cancelled and refunded, this is not because any more are coming but simply because we are unwilling to take back orders any more.

Don't combine brands, it'll lead to instant combustion of the motherboard.

Might be lazy for you but ive been hunting for information for a while. I thought the amd cards already had a pinned post with another for nvidia :)
