Hi guys, I'd like to be able to use both my current monitors and my television, but atm I have to disable one of my screens when I want to use the hdmi output for it to work. Now, if I put a second card in, a low powered one like this for instance:

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-264-SP&groupid=701&catid=56&subcat=1985

Would this work? Without enabling crossfire and downclocking my 6950? I'd still do 99% of things with my other two screens, maybe even swapping the 2nd screen onto the second card if it would improve things on my first card...

Processing power and memory doesn't really have anything to do with resolution, so the 5450 is fine. Most people use it for 1080p videos anyway, so it will have no problem displaying things to the TV. If you however plan to game on the TV, then get the adapter instead.
