My PCIe x16 lanes on my mobo don't allow for much of a gap between the cards! I am gonna make a spacer at work (simailar to one on the 6990) to at least guarantee the 5mm gap!
Any way atm my cards are shader unlocked and core at 1.125V the cards are stable at 900/1375. What are safe 24/7 temps for these cards?
I adjust the fan profiles, because I game with headphones, to 60%, but this is the limit, before it sounds like I live next to an airport!
My temps during Furmark after 15mins were in the mid 90s, Crysis Warhead, on enthuiast setting, POM/AF and Ultra textures packs installed got to around 78oC, and a few hours on Witcher 2 (ultra, except uber textures) hit around 69oC.
All these temps were for the top card, bottom card is around 6-7oC cooler!
Just want to know the safe operating temps and max temp for these cards.
Oh, and power control settings are +20% for both cards!
