Hi
I'm looking to upgrade my power supply so that if i decide to crossfire my 6950 in the future i don't have to upgrade my psu as well. I've been looking at the forum and ive narrowed my choices down to either a
XFX Pro 750W Core Edition
or
Antec TruePower New Modular 750W
most people suggest the Antec but the XFX is closer to my budget. What i want to know is, is the XFX a good PSU?

Thanks for the help. The power supply i currently have is a OCZ StealthXStream 500w Silent Power Supply. Not using my 6950 with it though waiting to upgrade my psu before i use it.

You will be ok with a quality 650W according to this...

Only about 509W at load running Furmark in an i7 920 system.

Ezyryder is correct, but you do need to be careful. A PSU that is rated at 650W will not always be rated at all 650W on the 12V rail. The stealthstream should be enough for a single card.

also if he has flashed his 6950 to a 6970, it will be consuming significantly more power
